Summerbella offers danceware for purchase at our in-studio store. New and trial students may wear loose-fitting, stretchable clothes and socks. We have many sizes of loaner shoes that may be borrowed.

Ballet classes require a leotard, tights, and pink ballet shoes. A removable ballet skirt may also be worn. Hair should be in a bun and away from the face. Boys should wear fitted, flexible black pants or tights and black ballet shoes.

Tap classes require fitted, flexible clothing and tap shoes. Hair should be pulled away from face and in a ponytail or bun.

Jazz classes may wear a leotard with tights or fitted dance shorts or leggings. Slip on Jazz shoes are required, preferably in tan.

Acro classes may wear a leotard or fitted dancewear without a skirt. No shoes required/needed.

Musical Theater classes may wear a leotard with tights or fitted dance shorts or leggings. Slip on Jazz shoes are required, preferably in tan.

Combo classes require any style/color leotard with or without an attached skirt. Tights are optional. Pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes are required. Hair should be pulled back away from the face. Boys may wear flexible clothing and black ballet and tap shoes.

Hip Hop classes require flexible clothing and clean-soled tennis shoes used only for class. (Outside street shoes are not permitted on the dance floors). Hair should be pulled back away from face.

Tiny Tots classes require any style/color leotard with or without an attached skirt. Tights are optional. Ballet shoes are required. Hair should be pulled back away from the face. Boys may wear flexible clothing and black ballet shoes.

Leaps and Turns classes may wear a leotard with tights or fitted dance shorts or leggings. Slip on Jazz or half-sole shoes are required.

Adult classes may wear active-wear, yoga attire, or a leotard with or without a skirt or shorts. Clothing options are flexible but should allow for free movement.

Summerbella Company dancers in choreography classes and rehearsals should wear the required black SDA Signature leotard, tan or pink tights, and have all styles of shoes available. Hair should be pulled away from the face and in a ponytail or bun at the discretion of the director. Black, fitted dance shorts or a ballet skirt may be worn.
